Have you ever been at that crossroads? At your job, with a relationship, or a life decision? Maybe it’s a ministry decision, what’s next for your ministry, how to navigate a new direction, are you the person to lead in this next season? Maybe you feel like you’re in a foreign land with no GPS and all the signs are in a different language.

Authentic Christianity isn’t just an adherence to a certain set of doctrines and then stepping in cadence with everyone else who adheres to those same beliefs. It’s not simply humanitarian service to the less fortunate. It is a walk. It’s a supernatural walk with a living, dynamic, communicating God. The heart and soul of the Christian life is learning to hear God’s voice and then developing the courage to do what he tells us to do.

When you’re at a crossroads, having a trustworthy guide makes all the difference. The people of God have consistently found themselves at these kinds of crossroads. Abraham after leaving his homeland, Joshua after Moses’ death, David after his terrible sin, the disciples after Jesus ascended. How do you find the way forward when it feels like you’re all alone. This 3-part blog series will explore three kinds of prayers we must pray to help us confidently and resolvedly find our way forward.
